Project Description: Casting 'True Drama ' a film which questions the modern norm of hyper-violence in media. The story follows the God of drama - Dionysos - who appears in Greenwich Connecticut in order to stop the corruption of the art of acting. When his warnings go ignored the Dionysian is unleashed.
The story features three groups of protagonists: the Greenwich Police the masked vigilante the Greek God of drama and his cult followers and a rich film producer who is obsessed with realism and recreating the death-row ramblings of a serial killer. As the Greenwich Police investigate a missing actress they discover the gulf between old drama and new. The violence in Greek drama is always a warning to the living - a cautionary tale - and an invitation to a more thoughtful life. The violence in modern media is often well - a nihilistic celebration of blood lust. The film reminds people that drama was invented at the same time as democracy and that its purpose is to prepare people to shoulder the burdens of citizenship in a democracy.

Note: The part may be played by several actors so list your voice-over, dance, or combat skills.
