Project Description: Smar, an undocumented Indian Immigrant meets with a freak accident. He is then forced to reflect upon the state of the universe through art, while surviving in a foreign city with nothing but the faith in his gods and memories of home. Video Reel RequiredA slender, delicate brown man with a gentle demeanor. He is often daydreaming about his mother’s fresh baked bread and vegetables. He means no harm and simply wants a better life. His faith in god constantly preoccupies his mind, especially as he has no one to talk to. He is also undocumented and works as a food delivery driver. He lies to his mother about having a great life in America because he is too scared to admit the truth. Despite his tough circumstances, he still considers his life in America better than whatever he is escaping from. He is the epitome of the unbreakable human spirit. There is no live dialogue (only voice overs), and there are no interactions with other characters. Smar is all by himself and the role would require excellent use of silences. Your eyes need to do the talking! You will have to do some hindi voiceover (ideally), if not we can fake it with another voice but it is ideal that the voice and the actor are the same person.

Video Reel RequiredOne of two in a couple that is madly in love, and will excuse each other for almost anything. Nothing is a luxury and everything (and everyone) is easily replaceable to these people. He is not much of a talker (no dialogue), and is used to gesturing in place of words (he never had to life a finger or speak up for himself). They affect the lead character's life in ways they do not understand or even know about. The supporting characters in this film do not have a lot of screen time and are more meant to be personality traits rather an actual person. You do not see their faces (& barely hear them). Most of the coverage will be extreme closeups of your eyes, lips, hands, gestures, props that you hold. This role does require some fake smoking. It also involves dancing in the rain (in a studio setting) with your "wife". 1 day (& another 1/2 day) of commitment. Total Pay: $100.

Nothing is a luxury and everything (and everyone) is easily replaceable to these people. Her husband is not much of a talker so she is often the one speaking. She has animated reactions to everything and is very expressive (opposite of her husband). She finds hobbies out of convenience and almost never keeps them, leading to her buying a bunch of things she does not really need. The supporting characters in this film do not have a lot of screen time and are more meant to be personality traits rather an actual person. You do not see their faces (& barely hear them). Most of the coverage will be extreme closeups of your eyes, lips, hands, gestures, props that you hold, jewelry you wear. This role does require coverage of you eating a bunch of different food (it will be delicious I promise).It also involves dancing in the rain (in a studio setting) with your "husband". Total pay $100.

Video Reel RequiredHe is angry, frustrated, and preoccupied with his life’s greatest problem: constipation. He will easily lose his temper. You do have a few dialogues for one scene. For a lot of this, you will have to act like you're in extreme pain in your stomach. 50% of your coverage will be on the toilet (no nudity, do not worry, the coverage is close ups). The supporting characters in this film do not have a lot of screen time and are more meant to be personality traits rather an actual person. You do not see their faces (& barely hear them). Most of the coverage will be extreme closeups of your eyes, lips, hands, gestures, props that you hold. Requires you to act like you're in the toilet. Also requires you to put on a costume of a 10 headed mythical demon for some of the scenes. 2 days of commitment. Total pay is $100
