Brown | Role Type: SupportingStraight brown hair, thin, pale complexion. Victim. Rosemary is a 22 year old mid-western girl who comes to Chicago seeking work, and a husband. In HH Holmes she may find both. In our trilogy he offers her employment, seduces her and then kills her by strangulation. She is the first victim of the series.

Ned came to the Murder Castle with his wife, Julia, and daughter Pearl and was employed in the jewelry counter that Holmes housed in his pharmacy. Ned was not pleased with the attention Holmes extended to Julia, and found himself cuckolded, as he watched Julia grow closer to Holmes. Eventually Ned Conner divorced Julia and left his family with Holmes.

Blonde | Role Type: SupportingTall, blonde hair, buxom, think Kim Basinger in LA Confidential. Victim. Julia, 27, worked in a clerical capacity in Holmes's mail-order medicine business. The tall blonde and Holmes became lovers. Julia's husband, Ned, divorced Julia and left town. Julia then pestered Holmes to marry her. He stalled until Julia announced that she was pregnant. Holmes used the promise of marriage to convince her to submit to an abortion. When she finally consented on Christmas Eve 1891, Holmes poisoned her with Chloroform.

Her actions are not the dis-similar from Cigrand's father (and a few other family members), who hounded Holmes (about missing family and friends), and did indeed hire a private detective.

Holmes's handyman, Ben Pitezel, went there for treatment and returned, not sober, but with a glowing report of their secretary's great beauty. In May, 1892 Holmes lured her away for a 50% increase in salary. Cigrand and Holmes got engaged. She knew of one of his wives, so Holmes insisted that she only refer to him as Robert Phelps, until he could get divorced. He locked her in a vault until she died of suffocation.
