Project Description: Gateway Playhouse, Bellport, is holding an open casting call for its interactive theatrical attraction: Gateway's Haunted Playhouse. We will be holding both in-person and virtual casting calls. We are seeking actors to portray characters in this haunt-style production. Actors must be comfortable with makeup, special effects, and interaction with the public. Actors must be available for most Haunt and Preview nights with limited or no conflicts.
NOTE: Submit your resume to casting notices within the initial 24-hour window. Promptness often translates to increase visibility.
Hours are typically 4:30-10:00 pm Sunday thru Thursday, last ticket sold at 10:00, and 4:30-11:30 pm Friday and Saturday, last ticket sold at 11:30pm. Some makeup call times may be earlier. Not So Scary Dates: Make up call times start at 10:30am and is subject to vary. Not So Scary Hours: 12pm-4pm. If you do Not So Scary that would be an extra $50 on those Saturdays and Sundays dates.
