Pay: $65 for an estimated 2 hours of work (flat rate)
Project Description: Seeking a 2-person team for the Children's Theatre Fall Tour. and prefer to hire couples , partners or friends.
We are in the early stages of hiring our Fall tour of The Story of Scrooge and Rhonda Appleseed. We will be hiring 2 teams- a NYC team and a West Coast team with Seattle, Portland or San Francisco residence. Here's some basic info: We'll be doing 2 shows for the Fall that each team will learn and perform: "Rhonda Appleseed" and a version of A Christmas Carol.
These are 2 person 45-minute shows that tour with a portable set, costumes and props that fit in almost any vehicle. They will perform at elementary schools and libraries. The shows require one of the actors to have a vehicle. Let us know if you have a reliable vehicle for the tour. Couples, partners or friends are encouraged to apply as a team. A flexible work schedule is essential as these shows are booked for elementary school assemblies and public libraries. The Story of Scrooge is our most popular show so December will be busy. Note: Rehearsal Stipend. Production pays all gas, parking, and tolls for the driver. All overnight stays are paid.
Casting: By submission
Rehearsal Date: September/October via Zoom and in person NYC and Portland, OR.
Performance Dates: Tour begins late October-December 25 on East Coast and West Coast.
