The “Guest Star” is a performer that joins Sesame Street’s Muppets on stage. This role is the only “human” in the production, so we’re looking for someone approachable and friendly. Vocal Ranges for “Guest Star” - Male: Tenor Required Range: B3 to G4. Female: Mezzo-Soprano / Soprano (preferred) Required Range: B4 to G5. Previous puppeteering experience is preferred but not required, as there is also an accompanying backstage puppet track. Familiarity with the Sesame Street hand puppet style of puppetry (both one and two-hand glove puppets and rod puppets), and the Bunranku style of puppetry (multiple puppeteers performing different parts of the same puppet) is desired - but again, not required.
